Project Background
In August 2013 a group of nine students and two teachers from NIST International School in Bangkok travelled to Baan Maeramit Luang hill tribe village in Omgoi, Chiang Mai on a CAS trip. The aim of that trip was to learn about life in the village and identify the main developmental needs of the village that would improve their quality of life.
Just 10 months later, on the third NIST trip of the year to the village, a group of 24 students engaged in development projects that gave the village of 300:
